MI-RAMS
The M156 MI-RAMS provides U.S. Special Operations Forces, Combat Engineers, Explosive Ordnance Disposal and other units the ability to remotely activate munitions and demolition charges when the intervening media is not penetrable by radio waves.
The MI-RAMS command signal operates through soil, rock and water, and into urban structures to remotely control single or multiple groups of charges. MI-RAMS is interoperable with both the M152 Remote Activation Munition System (RAMS) and the MK186 Remote Firing (RF) System.
The MI-RAMS line of products are lightweight, durable and comply with Military Standards: MIL-STD-1316 Fuze Design Safety Requirements and MIL-STD-1911 Design Safety Requirements for Hand Emplaced Munitions.
